Way of the Thunder Dragon
The Way of the Thunder Dragon is an intensive discipleship program for those who wish to train in a proper path of discipline. This is a path for the most dedicated students, in which they will receive training in the same ancient traditions I have been initiated into. This path goes beyond the basic health and fitness exercises taught in the other martial arts, qigong, and yoga classes offered. We will explore the deeper esoteric meanings of the forms, gain an understanding of the ancient mythologies and other wisdom texts, learn the energetic anatomy of the body and its applications, and put all the pieces together to construct the grander picture of the universe and reality itself. In this path, we will explore modern scientific findings and bring these disciplines back to their roots to learn first hand why they have been so revered for millennia.
The Way of the Thunder Dragon is a syncretic path which examines the threads which bind all ancient traditions throughout the world to the One Root. The energetic training is primarily rooted in the Taoist Thunder Alchemy and Shaolin Hou Quan Men traditions into which I have been personally initiated. In this path the primary focus is to harmonize the total being with the Tao. In this method we work to transmute the Body, Soul, and Spirit at the most minute level in order to realize our fullest potential in all aspects of life. To this end, we will undergo intensive training. Physically, training includes specific forms, postures, and breath to awaken and strengthen the meridian system and increase overall health and strength. You will learn the proper methods of developing the true Dan Tien and circulation of real tangible Qi, which has nothing to do with imagination and visualization like what is taught in other surface-level schools. Dietary and exercise guidelines will be set to support cellular transmutation of the body. Mentally, thought discipline will be trained and practiced to transmute the mind, brain, and nervous system. Spiritually, we will gain a profound and practical understanding of ourselves and the Universe which will allow us to progress beyond what we could otherwise accomplish in the material realm alone.

The Way of the Thunder Dragon is a path of discipline. As such, it requires initiation and full commitment as a lifestyle. This is not a path for the casual enthusiast. The goal of this path is to change oneself at the fundamental level to actualize oneself at the ultimate level. This is a path for those who are committed to this change. With that in mind, it is required that students commit to their training tuition at once as opposed to the stand alone classes offered in the other systems I teach. This is a symbolic gesture to the Universe, to me as your instructor, and to yourself that you are intent on carrying out your transformation regardless of the cost or of the obstacles you may face along the way. This commitment is in and of itself a powerful ritual to fortify the unconscious and steel your resolve.

The membership fee at this level is $8,000. This price includes four 60-minute private classes per month (which will typically be one every week) in which we will work on form and posture, proper practices, and discuss various aspects of understanding. In addition, the student will have full access to all public classes along with the entire video and written library to use as resources and will be able to have any questions answered directly by me.

Taoist Thunder Alchemy and Spirit Arts

The Thunder tradition is among the oldest and most secretive paths of Taoism. As such, practitioners have retained much of the ancient knowledge which has been long lost by virtually all other sects. In fact, most look upon Thunder Path practitioners with a measure of fear and reservation, regarding them as "black magicians" due to the profound depth of their mystical practices. Although much of the negative rumors are just that, it does remain that Thunder Path practitioners are followers of a left hand path which often included things such as demon exorcism and bare-handed spirit fighting. This means that the techniques are designed to delve straight into the power of the Universe within and without. In this path, we will explore the architecture of the internal and external universes and come to understand their workings. We will step into the Lightning and come to glimpse its unfathomable power of transformation. Learn to utilize the Lighting element to empower the Soul to its fullest potential and to forge its every desire in this realm.

Hanuman Xigong
​
One of the most powerful and closely-guarded martial practices in the world, Hanuman Xigong is the path of the warrior monks of the great monkey king Hanuman. It is one of the only systems to retain the true and authentic Xinyi practices, incorporated with the principles of Taoist Taijiquan and Hanuman Fist. In this system, we will learn some of the most profound and rare techniques for health and longevity as well as utterly brutal martial prowess. Among the most sought after techniques are the Grand Orbit and the complete Iron Body training. As with the Taoist practices above, the Thunder Dragon approach is a Lightning path which emphasizes the power of the Xin as symbolized by Lord Hanuman's great devotion to Lord Rama - the immortal Soul.

Alchemical Astrology
​
The oldest and most complete system of astrology in the world, Jyotisha (light of God) is an endless (quite literally) journey into the workings of the universe and our place here. In the Thunder Dragon school, the primary focus is on the use of specialized astrological techniques for practical medical and psychological applications. That being the case, a full general understanding of the mechanisms of Vedic astrology will be taught along with the particular methods of complimenting people with plants for optimal health. Learn to make use of the astrological chart to map out the true expression of the self with personalized mantras and techniques to empower the soul on its journey and discover the life purpose for which you were designed.

Herbalism
​
Learn to make use of the plants to strengthen and remedy the self in Body, Soul, and Spirit. Learn the elemental and planetary associations of plants and their correspondences in the human being. Gain the knowledge and ability to formulate combinations of plants in various ways, including powders, tinctures, infusions, decoctions, spagyrics, and more.

Training is provided primarily from the perspectives of traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic techniques. Additional insights are gleaned from alchemy and traditional earth-based modalities from around the world.

Alchemy
​
Alchemy is the ancient predecessor of modern chemistry. The primary difference is that in modern times society has worked to remove any trace of the Divine from our thoughts. Alchemy, on the other hand, retains the knowledge and respect for the infinite mind of God from which all things manifest. This is seen in the names "Al-chemy" and "chemistry." The "Al-" is from the Arabic "Allah" or God. Literally, the science of God.
In alchemy, we study the elemental and energetic structure of the universe and how to make use of these concepts toward various purposes. This knowledge can be applied to every aspect of life and is an invaluable resource for navigating our world and beyond. Using the philosophical principles of alchemy we will reach a more profound understanding of the universe and learn how to balance and direct the energies in the most productive ways.

Runes
​
The runes are the ancient seed sounds which form the fabric of the universe. They are of the same nature as the Vedic beeja mantras, which will also be covered here. As the universe is a tapestry of frequencies, each of these sounds resonates with those frequencies. From these we also learn the origins of our spoken languages and the true power of words and intent which have been long lost to time.

Qabbalah

The Qabbalah is the study of the great Tree of Life, the Sephiroth. Here we will see how the Tree corresponds to each of the elements, the planets, and the tarot and how these energies work together to map out the workings of the universe.
In the Qabbalah we will se how all of the sacred disciplines come together in splendid fashion to form the great tapestry of reality both manifested and potential. We will journey through each of the worlds to learn the wisdom contained within and how to apply that wisdom to our own evolution and toward the advancement of our surroundings and circumstances.
